Tymber has recently released it’s most disruptive feature yet, enabling ‘Ice Cream Truck Model’ delivery. This feature allows Tymber partners to display dynamic menus to customers visiting your website based on their location and inventory available in delivery cars near the customer. Customers are able to choose between ‘Express’ and ‘Scheduled’ delivery. Express delivery menus populate dynamically based on the customers location, and are typically a smaller menu made up of inventory available in the delivery car nearest to the customer. Scheduled delivery menus are typically a larger inventory stored in the warehouse available on a scheduled basis, such as later today or tomorrow at a specified time.

Design Express And Scheduled Dynamic Menus In Seconds

The controls for this new feature are conveniently located in the Tymber Mission Control administrative dashboard. Once logged in, it’s possible to navigate to the inventories tab on the left side panel to reveal a window where dynamic menu settings are configured.

Dynamic menus starts with defining regions based on zip codes, which will be serviced by your delivery fleet. A simple configuration for this might be four regions: north, south, east and west. Once the regions are established, then they are assigned to an inventory (e.g. Car 1, Car 2, Car 3, Car 4). You’ll also have a designated inventory for your ‘Scheduled’ deliveries, commonly referred to as the warehouse or safe inventory.

Each inventory is synced into Tymber from the point of sale system and is displayed in a list with simple toggle controls to adjust the availability of those inventories on the ecommerce store on the website. The ‘valid for sale’ column shows exactly how many products are available in each inventory.

Create Custom Schedules For Each Delivery Type

Tymber partners can create custom schedules based on information entered into the delivery settings in Tymber Mission Control. These schedules update in real time on the website. Customers placing an order for scheduled delivery from the warehouse inventory will be directed to choose a time based on the schedule that has been set. The settings allow you to change the length of the time slots offered on the schedule, the buffer time before the time slots close and how far in advance customers can schedule an order from today through up to five days in the future.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could set custom hours that Express delivery is available to customers on your menu? Tymber can do that too. In Tymber Mission Control you can set hours for express deliveries to be displayed on the menu. For example, maybe your store hours are from 9am to 9pm, but you only offer express deliveries from 11am to 8pm. Set those custom hours in Tymber Mission Control and the express delivery menus will be available only within those set hours. After hours, customers will still be able to order scheduled delivery from the full warehouse menu around the clock.

Shoppers Find The Right Products At The Right Time

Over 80% of visitors on retail cannabis websites are on a mobile device. On your website, Tymber provides a smooth user experience designed for a lightning fast mobile experience. Once the customer arrives at the website and enters their delivery address, Tymber’s dynamic menus feature matches the zip code with the appropriate inventory and menu to connect the customer available products closest to them. From there they can shop, sort, filter, add to cart, and checkout in seconds.
